“Famous Painted Santa” gets new home.
Kristie Allen Peeples, the daughter of the famous child artist William Peeples, has just been granted the ownership privilege of “The Famous Painted Santa”. This longtime valued family heirloom had been placed for decades underneath the family Christmas tree of E.B and Margaret Peeples, as a yearly celebration of their young son’s great artist talents during the early 1950’s.
This treasured Christmas decoration has remained with the family for many decades and has traveled from the west coast to the east coast as the family moved from home to home across the country. “The Famous Painted Santa” will now reside in the home of E.B. and Margaret Peeples’ oldest granddaughter in Frankfort , Kentucky
